ZAQ is a singer, songwriter and composer. She began playing piano from the age of 3, and graduated from a music college majoring in piano. Aside from studying classical, she is experienced with several genres including rock, pop, R&B, & Hip-hop. She self-taught composition, and began writing songs for other artists in 2012.
In October 2012, she made her major debut as a singer with “Sparkling Daydream”, the opening theme song of TV anime Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions. Since then, she has performed several popular anime theme songs, from titles such as Classroom of the Elite, Concrete Relolutio, Sasami-san@Ganbaranai, Food Wars!, Trinity Seven, The Magnificent KOTOBUKI, and more.
In 2017, she wrote the theme song music, lyrics and arrangement (co-arrange) for “Animelo Summer 2017 –THE CARD-” the largest anisong event in Japan.
She has also provided music composition and lyrics for other artists such as Sayaka Sasaki, Haruna Luna, Maaya Uchida and anime/game works such as Beyond the Boundary, Sound! Euphonium and iDOLM@STER Million Live.
